Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are very important to Sunshine Foundation!  Across Canada, we have approximately 500 volunteers who run our chapters and form the very heart of our organization. They give their time and skills not for personal gain or praise, but to make a difference in the world and to bring a little sunshine into the lives of Canada’s special children.

Sunshine Chapters need volunteers at all levels of commitment. You can make a difference to Sunshine kids through volunteering:

• Plan and help out with a fundraiser such as a golf tournament or children’s art auction
• Put on the Sunshine Bear costume and become our mascot for the day
• Work with a family to present a Dream to their child
• Meet with local businesses, community groups and media to build support for Sunshine
• Help keep other volunteers informed of important developments in your community
