Requirements

As a Sunshine Foundation volunteer, the commitment you make is really up to you. When you volunteer, it's important to decide how involved you want to be and what types of volunteer duties you’d like to take on. No amount of your time and effort is too small for us to say "Thank you!"

• Chapter leaders are likely to spend 10 to 15 hours a month on Sunshine activities
• Volunteers for specific committees and events may contribute two to eight hours per month, depending on the time of year and the local event schedule
• Some volunteers are "on call" and pitch in for one or two events per year

Sunshine can provide a basic orientation to new volunteers about the organization. Fellow volunteers in your Chapter, as well as Sunshine Home Office staff, can also provide support depending on the types of activities you are involved with in your community.
