Golf tournaments are great opportunities to raise funds and awareness. Although not every volunteer can organize a golf tournament on their own, they can generate support from a tournament by simply asking local golf tournament organizers or businesses if they can include Sunshine as a benefitting charity.
Do you know of a golf tournament in your community that does not currently benefit a charity or may be able to include Sunshine as one of the charities involved? To help you reach out to the tournament organizers in your community, we have developed this simple document which explains the impact it can make when an event supports Sunshine and what kind of support they can receive from Sunshine by partnering with our charity.
