WINNERS and HomeSense Matches Customer Donations 
In Store this weekend during the ‘Spread a Little Sunshine’ Campaign
in support of The Sunshine Foundation

Even if it rains the sun will be shining brightly in WINNERS and HomeSense stores across the country this weekend. From August 26 to 28, 2016, The Sunshine Foundation of Canada’s national dream partner WINNERS and HomeSense will generously be matchingin-store decal purchases up to $150,000 to help support Sunshine Dream Programs.

Customers can help Spread a Little Sunshine by purchasing a $2, $5, or $10 decal at their local WINNERS or HomeSense store.  WINNERS and HomeSense stores will donate one hundred per cent of the funds raised through decal sales to The Sunshine Foundation to help make dreams come true for Canadian children living with severe physical disabilities or life-threatening illnesses.

“Since 1999, thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our customers, we have had the privilege to help make dreams come true for children across Canada,” said Erin O’Brien, spokesperson for WINNERS & HomeSense.  “We are honoured to partner once again this year with The Sunshine Foundation to continue to help raise awareness and funds to support such a wonderful cause.”

Canadians can purchase a decal in support of The Sunshine Foundation at WINNERS and HomeSense stores until August 31st, 2016.

WINNERS and HomeSense has been a national dream partner for The Sunshine Foundation of Canada since 1999, raising over $8.6 million to support Sunshine Dream Programs. “Because of the generosity of caring supporters like WINNERS and HomeSense, Sunshine has been able since 1987 to fulfill over 8,000 dreams for kids across the country helping to build confidence, optimism and a sense of independence that lasts a lifetime,” says Sutherland.
